  So this one time I lost my baby, and he ended up on top of the freezer. I was quite worried because I did not wish my baby to end up frozen alive. I alerted the staff and they were quite ingenious in constructing a staircase made of stacked tinned tuna cans. All in all, I would recommend losing a child in Jesmond Woolworths as it is a safe environment full of intelligent staff members who will make sure your lost child doesn't freeze to death.

  This is my normal place that I do my shopping. So I can really really recommend the place. But it also have some downsides. Specially during the weekend they go out of stock even the basic items such as milk. Hope they will do something about it soon.

  It's payout is okay but it always seems to be full. For a quick in and out is okay but anything bigger try some where else

  The holiday decorations blocking the aisle number and descriptions is annoying though.

  A good store, but due to the shopping complex it is situated within, it suffers. For example, there is no convenient parking near Woolworths, especially now that they've taken away a whole bunch of parking spaces for their restaurant strip. Additionally, the store is smaller than most, so you aren't always able to get the things you want, the items that the larger stores carry. The market that this store caters for is mainly university students, which means there's never any decent seafood (only cheap imported fish, for example), but also means there are heaps of self service checkouts, so it has some benefits. Overall a good store, but suffers in some areas.

  Your average grocery store, clean and good staff.
