  Nice local shopping centre, not too big but has everything you need and due to a very multicultural populous and university nearby, some good eats and Asian stores.

  Jesmond shopping center has a very nice friendly atmosphere. Every shop and business has staff that are very friendly and happy to help you. I love going to the butcher (he does a discount over $100 spend) and winners circle bar (very good affordable food, and great for lunch, dinner, or a sneaky beer with mates. The center also has a parents room for bub, located near the food court.

  A really old shopping centre with very few shops worth visiting - the only reason to come here is Big W, and the rest you can pretty much pass on. Even the Woolworths isn't worth it, as it's so small that it doesn't stock all the variety of the larger stores. The parking is terrible, be it trying to work your car in to the teeny tiny parks underneath, or being boxed in by the trolley boys no matter where you park. The patronage here is horrid - lots of unsavoury people about, and I love that there's signage everywhere saying "don't smoke within 20m of any entrance" and yet I still have to walk through clouds of smoke to get in the centre - pathetic. Hate coming here, worst centre in Newcastle, avoid at all costs!
