  I was having a few prescriptions filled (mostly pain meds for a bad back). There was a drug which was, in essence, a double strength ibuprofen. It had been on the pbs, and cost about $2 a pack, so I had been buying it (instead of the 'normal' dose stuff in the supermarket).

  The wait times for prescriptions are typically 20-30 minutes, even outside peak hour. I try and avoid it for that reason.

  He had still filled the script without informing me of the price jump, and it was for something I could have bought from the supermarket (an equivalent there of) for about $5. I said "well I don't want it" and he told me he couldn't take it back, because it was already filled and sealed.

  The shop is normally pretty good, but a bit of common sense in this situation would have helped.

  I dropped off my scripts, went back to collect them, and the pharmacist told me that it was no longer on the PBS, and the price was now $24.
